BLADE’S POV

My fist penetrated the concrete surface of the large rock lying innocently in the clearing of the woods. Regardless of the pain that shot up my arms at the impact or bloody bruises that immediately tore up my skin, I kept at it.

I furiously punched the rock, smashed and smashed with every angry and tense bone in my body, yet it did nothing to take away the void she’d left behind.
