“Quick, Samantha, we need to leave now!" I said urgently, guiding her towards the exit.

Samantha nodded drunkily and I held her hand tight. "But what about whoever is following us?" she asked, smiling at me. “No one is following us, boo. Let's have fun.” she pulled me closer, smelling of alcohol

"Sam, please get yourself together. We need to leave now.” I uttered, scanning the surroundings. "We'll take a different route, and I'll call Max for backup. He's skilled at handling situations like this."

As we hurried out of the cafe, I dialed Max’s number, my fingers moving swiftly over the screen. "Max, we're being followed. We need your help to lose them."

His voice crackled through the phone. "I'm on my way, Adrian. Head towards the main street, and I'll intercept them. Just keep moving."
