ASHER POV " Excuse me." I say. " I want the white wolf. You took everything else from me. You took Stella, you took Ivy. How the hell did you get your hands on such a coveted white wolf?" He asked. " Why are they so coveted?" I asked. " Because they are so rare. No one has actually ever admitted to having a white wolf in their pack. But I can see one on TV here fighting with your pack and killing my pack." Jackson says. " The white wolf is not for sale." I insist. " This war can all be finished, if I have the white wolf." Jackson says. " Not happening Jackson. Go f**k yourself." I say hanging up. " What did he want?" Beau asked. " The white wolf. He said that he would stop the war if I gave him the white wolf that he saw on the news." I smirked. " He saw Ivy?" Beau asked. " Nope. He just saw the white wolf. Doesn't realize that their one in the same. He's after the same person. He keeps asking me over and over again for the same thing. The one thing that I won't g
" I'm really sorry. I was just walking past. I hadn't finished my chores yet today and I didn't mean to eavesdrop." She says. " It's 11pm at night. Why are you still doing chores?" Asher asked. " I told you earlier. I wanted to make sure that everything was perfect for the Luna's return." Malia says keeping her head down the entire time we were talking to her. " Well, the Luna is home. So you can go home." I demanded. " Yes ma'am. I'm very sorry." She says rushing off towards the stairs. And I closed the door and headed back to the bed. " So, you still think there's nothing wrong with her? How long was she f**king standing out there?" I asked as I walked back to the bed. " I don't know. She would have heard a lot, no matter how long she was out there." Asher laughed. " I'm glad you think this is so amusing." I say. " I'll talk to Beau tomorrow." He says. " Good. Otherwise I will. And that will be a very awkward conversation if I have to have it with him." I say. " I
ASHER POV I was in my office for hours that day trying to find any information on the database about Malia but I couldn't find anything. That was really odd in itself. The werewolf council always had this database going so that they could keep track of werewolves and the number of werewolves in each pack. They needed to know everything to make sure that our secret was kept. Well, it's too late for that. But I couldn't find Malia registered anywhere. She was found in the woods about an hour away from here saying that she was looking for our pack because hers had been attacked. There was something not adding up. I couldn't find what pack she came from, when they were attacked, nothing. There was no information on this girl at all. Since the council was killed by Jackson, there have been a few of us that have been keeping records still. Because they are important to our kind. We need to know who is who and where they are. There's only a few of us still adding to the database though.
IVY'S POV As I started to come to I realized that I was hanging over someone's shoulder but it wasn't Malia. It was a man that was carrying me through the woods and I didn't know who it was or why he was doing this. As I gained more of my senses back I kicked the man in the stomach and he dropped me immediately and I landed on a sharp branch that cut my leg open but I got to my feet and started running anyway. I heard the man yell to some others and before I knew it I was being surrounded. There were several men surrounding me and I knew that I couldn't fight my way out of this. I knew that I was in serious trouble here. But that doesn't mean I wasn't going to fight still. I tried to mind link Asher but it wasn't working. The wolfsbane was still too strong in my system and as the man who was carrying me approached me from the side I dropped to the ground and spun around, kicking his legs out from under him and the others charged at me. I punched one in the face and spun aroun
" Why have I never heard of you?" I asked. " Like I said, I was banished. Once someone is banished they are never mentioned again." He says. " And you were in love with my mother?" I asked. " Very much. She was everything to me. We were dating. She came to the house to see me one night and I wasn't there. But my father was. And 9 months later, so were you." He says. " Your father raped your girlfriend." I say. " Yeah. I tried to follow what was happening with Stella as much as possible. But it wasn't easy. And I tried to follow how you were going but again, it wasn't easy. Not until you met Alpha Asher." He says. " And you've been watching me ever since?" I asked. " No ever since. But I've been keeping tabs. I know what you're doing. I know that you're trying to stop him." He says. " I will try and stop that son of a bitch for the rest of my life. He doesn't deserve to live. Not after everything he's done." I growled. " I agree. He might be my father, but I wouldn't m
I walked to the dungeon stairs and Asher followed but he stayed at the bottom of the stairs while I walked further into the dungeon. I passed Malia in her cell, another man in the cell beside her, another man beside him and then Carter was at the back. " They all belong to you?" I asked. " Yeah." Carter says. " I need to talk to your people before we decide to do anything. Where are they?" I asked. " I'll take you there." He says. " Do they know about me? And how we're related with the same goal?" I asked. " Yeah." He says. " Then I'll be fine going on my own. That's the way it has to be. Otherwise Asher won't let me go and you will all rot in these cell's. He'll never let you out." I admit to him. " Where is he? I can smell him." Carter says. " He's waiting by the stairs. Did you really think he was going to leave me alone with you after what you pulled today?" I asked. " I guess not. Alright, their just outside your territory. A valley called 'River Run'." He says
" Everyone. Get back. Towards the back of the room." I yelled. And I helped move the children to the back of the room and I stayed at the front while I could see the door moving with every thud that was being made. Like something was throwing it's entire body towards the shelter. The door was actually starting to move. It was moving under the heavy weight of whatever was on the outside. I stood at the front of everyone trying so hard not to panic but everyone else was panicking. I knew that I had to stay strong for them. " Ivy. Get back." Spencer yelled as I took a step forward. " What the hell is that thing?" Another women yelled. " A beast." I answered. But none of us knew what beast it could possibly be. It was large. I knew that much. It was vicious. I heard growling on the other side. The thudding stopped for a brief moment while I knew that warriors were trying to contain the beast. One women started crying hysterically in the shelter and she fell to the ground. I ran
IVY POV I didn't know how we got here. Jeremiah kept a blindfold on my face the whole time while we were coming here. We'd been travelling for hours and when the blindfold was finally removed I was standing in the middle of a grand mansion. It was a lot more than I expected for a hide out. And of course, Jackson made a magnificant entrance coming down the staircase. " Well, you will never believe my surprise when Jeremiah called me to tell me that you were still alive. Those bastards only had one job. To set up the bomb and make sure that you died in the bomb. But they couldn't even get that right." Jackson says. " Well, you have to admit. Not all of your members are exactly the sharpest tools in the shed." I say rolling my eyes. " Is that any way to talk to your former Alpha?" He asked. " Don't you mean father?" I asked. And I heard his pack gasp and whisper. " Father, what is she talking about?" His son Levi asked looking confused. " Oh. He never told you. He was the one
