Chapter Thirty-five

Alpha Michael's POV;

Soon, I am swerving into the parking lot of the three storey building located on the other end of the city which houses one of my most trusted detectives. Of course, I can handle all of these myself if I want but there's so much on my plate and I don't think I can handle it all at once.

I take the steps, as the elevator is already filled up. Usually, Shaft never lets anyone coming to his office use the steps as he wants to remain hidden from the rest of the world. His establishment was located at the top floor of the building and the last two had a dentist's office and a boutique so it was really easy to hide his establishment. There was no sign indicating that he worked there.

On getting to the last steps, I find my Beta wandering around and when he sees me, he stops walking and hurries towards me, a look of relief on his face.

"Was wondering when you were going to arrive."
