Chapter thirteen

Selena’s pov

I left Heaven with Bianca in the room, and started to walk down the hallway. My heart was racing, and I could feel the sweat on my palms. I was about to confront my father, the man who raised me and loved me unconditionally. But now, he was the one attacking us, trying to get me back from Angel's evil clutches.

As I reached the end of the hallway, I saw my father standing there, his eyes red with anger. I could see the pain and desperation in his eyes, and it broke my heart. But I knew what I had to do. I took a deep breath and approached him slowly.

"Dad," I said softly, trying to keep my voice steady. "Please listen to me. I can't go back with you."

My father looked at me, his expression softening slightly. "Selena, you have to come back with me. You can't stay with that man. He's not good for you."
