Alpha Miles POV

Zara’s sudden unwarranted death was causing a bit of a commotion. I wasn’t ready to relay the news to her father just yet.

Rather I racked my brain on who the culprit could be.

“Was that urushiol for real?” Everyone seemed to believe it except me because I witnessed her sudden death. In confirmation, I asked the doctor one more time even though he had made the pronouncement that she was dead from such medicine.

“Never been so sure.”

“Who could it be?” I thought to myself.

I needed someone to help me out on this case.

All I could think of was the man whose father I had imprisoned for life.

No other than my cousin Brian.

He used to work as an informant in the Buyong Agency before his father forced him to leave.

I’ve never needed to use his services. But I witnessed firsthand how good he was. Perhaps his strategies were made for such a time as this.
