Adonis's POV My jaw almost drops open as Theo opens the door to his gaming room. "Damn!" Adrien mutters behind me. I can't even get any words to utter. I was seriously stunned seeing the huge luxury gaming room and the way it was set up. The room was a splash of blue and purple with RGB lights on the walls around installed game shelves. The ceiling looked like it was made up of clouds. There were two gaming PCs and in front of them were the perfect gaming chairs. Among other accessories was a comfy leather couch laid against the walls opposite the computers and near it was a mini fridge just an arm's reach away. This was really a gamer's dream room. "C'mon. Theodore's POV "Baby, are you tired?" Adonis asks me after we practice dribbling, passing and shooting for an hour. "Not really," I say and shoot the ball, aiming at the hoop but it fails to go through it. I leave a sigh and turn to Adonis. "Why can't I still do it?" "Look, Little one, basketball isn't something you master in a week. I've been playing for years and sometimes even I fail to score a basket. You're just being over-ambitious right now," he says in a scolding tone, making me pout. "Gosh, Theo! Now don't look at me like that! I feel like kissing you!" he says and comes towards me, making my heart pound faster. I thought he'd kiss me. But he only cups my face with his both hands and stares into my eyes. "Listen, you'll get better with practice. Be proud that you're already this good with just one week's practice." I nod to him and lean in kissing his beautiful lips. Summer Camp Epilogue- Never Gonna Be Bored
1 month later Adonis's POV "Before announcing the names of the four who got selected into the team this year, I want to say a huge thanks to all nine of you who participated in the tryouts," Our Coach Mr Nelson says with a big smile on his face. "Your dedication, hard work, and passion for the game have been truly inspiring. I honestly wish to take all of you in the team but since there is a limit for the number of players, we can only select the best four. That doesn't mean your effort and determination have gone unnoticed. Remember that this is just one moment in your basketball journey, and there will be many more opportunities ahead. Keep working hard, stay focused, and continue to improve your skills. Your time will come." I feel anxious as I see Theo nod to the coach whilst biting his lips, standing in the middle of the row of nine boys who came for tryouts. He looks really nervous. I know he will cry if he doesn't get selected. The whole last month, he practised really hard.
Summer Camp 1. Trouble
Theodore's POV 'Gosh! What have I gotten myself into? I can't believe I agreed to this! What was I even thinking?' I mutter under my breath as I step my feet down the aisle of the large single-decker sleeper bus already filled with a lot of girls and guys. I feel my hands and legs tremble as I sense myself getting stares from the people already seated on either side. With a heavily thudding heart, I scurry to the back of the bus, keeping my gaze on the dark vinyl flooring. Finally, I find an empty seat towards the back. I quickly haul my luggage bag off my shoulder and slump down on the window seat, placing the bag beside me. Once I fish my phone out of my pocket and check my hair and face in the camera, making sure everything's alright, I let out a sigh and lean back against the seat, pulling up the neck of my top a little. The tall handsome dude with tousled dark hair and bright blue eyes slumps down beside me and raises an eyebrow at me, probably noticing my surprised expression. "Do you know me?" "Hey! I'm going to go join Andrea's table. You coming with me?" Adonis says as I turn around after I get my dinner from the counter. I thought he already left but he was actually standing there, waiting for me. I look at Andrea's table and it was already filled with a lot of girls and guys. I close the comiXology website where I had just started reading a new comic, along with all of the other tabs in the background before placing my phone near my pillow. With a sigh, I close my eyes and try to sleep, but it seems like I won't be able to get any sleep today. Why is she playing too hard to catch? Does she actually hate me? But, what did I do? I mean all the girls seem to like me, except her. Why only her? What should I do now to make her fall for me? I roll on to my stomach and squirm my face into the pillow, feeling frustrated.
