Cisca pushed the door open and walked in with a tray. She sighed at the sight of files scattered about his desk. "Do you ever get rest?" She inquired.

Alden chuckled. "I believe I would soon. I just need to put things in place." He said and rose to collect the tray from her."

" Are you sure?" She asked. He didn't look like he was going to stop soon

He nodded, " Of course I will. I am having conversations with a few Alphas, but we are yet to conclude." He said.

" Thanks for the cookies. But I told you to rest. We have maids." He scolded her gently.
