Duke Michael de Vesilios was the Duke of the Vesilios Kingdom. The Vesilios family were huge, but it had been ages since the duke had reached out to any of his family members. The only one he had in his huge manor was his wife and Omega, Duchess Imelda de Vesilios and his staff who were all members of his pack. The Alpha had left his family when he had turned into a real Alpha and set out to create a pack of his own.
A pack he created indeed, but there was no heir to it. Until that fateful day when Imelda gave birth to their first pup, but dying herself in child birth.
Well, it is safe to say, nothing has ever been the same after that.
The Duke would look after his new born son, but it was never enough. The baby would always cry, day and night in complete clockwise movement. A number of nannies had been changed in the last few weeks that had passed, but none stayed longer than fortnight, for they claimed the pup was insufferable and annoying. Claiming they never met a baby this whiny.
The Alpha was furious. A baby was a baby, he thought. It was its nature to be whiny. But little did the Duke know that babies are whiny yes, but his pup in particular, was just a real handful. The pup liked none of his nannies, and would often cry in his father’s arms too.
The Alpha grew weary and desolate, for the loss of his mate was already hurting him from the inside, and he did not know what else to do for the baby. He had promised Imelda he would protect their son, so why was it proving so hard? Why was the baby making everything more difficult?
He thought that it was merely his fate, for he had lived a lavish life full of pleasure and happiness, so it was time for payback, until one fateful day, when something different happened.
Lord Mikalis, the uncle of the Duke had decided to pay his nephew a visit as a means to offer his condolence for the loss of his Omega and congratulate him on the birth of his first pup.
But alas! The Lord hadn’t come alone. For with him were his wife, Lady Leubort, and his unmarried daughter, Lady Sofia.
Sofia was a beautiful lady for her age, but her beauty wasn’t the only thing that had caught the widowed Dukes attention. It was her wolf, calling out to his own. With heart swelling in new found love and happiness, the Duke boldly embraced his new second chance mate, right there in front of her parents. But neither of them questioned the man’s atrocity, rather they Lord smirked to himself, as if he had gained victory over something.
Perhaps he did. Because right after that encounter, the Duke was married to the lady, who had now become Duchess Sofia de Vesilios.
The Alpha then introduced his new Omega to his first born, and to his delight, Sofia had seemed to love the baby. She adored the little Alpha, and smiled fondly at him like his biological mother would. She and nursed him and sang lullaby’s to him when he had to sleep. Duchess Sofia had accepted the baby as her own, although it wasn’t hers at all.
It was one eventless night, when the couple were preparing for bed, Sofia asked the question she should have asked the Duke when she first met the baby.
‘'I never asked this before, but pray tell me, what is the child called?'’ Sofia looked at her husband with confusion in her face, but the Alpha had gone ashen as he stared at his hands. ‘'I-I don’t know. He isn’t called anything.'’
That wasn’t the answer Sofia was looking for. ‘'Nonsense! Of course the baby has a name! It has to! It’s been more than a month or two since he was born! Surely there is a name he goes by!'’
When the Duke made no attempt to correct her, Sofia’s eyes grew wide as she neared her husband. ‘'So...you mean to say...you haven’t even named him? He doesn’t have a name?'’
Reluctantly, the Duke shook his head, making his wife gasp in horror. ‘'How could that be? He is your first born! You should have named him!'’
There was a lot in the Dukes head, a lot he wanted to say. That he was too occupied with his wife’s death that he forgot. Excuses like, the baby was always a crying mess that he never had the time or his busy state affairs that were too much in his head to let him spare some time for his baby.
So many reasons, but they all sounded like futile attempts at making lame excuses. He could not possibly tell that his wife, so he stuck with that one response he was honest about.
''I am sorry. I had been a very neglectful father. Imelda would be ashamed of me.’’ He fidgeted with his hands like a lost lamp, making his Omega feel his vulnerability. She smiled at him softly before sitting beside him on the bed and patting his back.
‘'It is alright, for it is not too late to make amends. We shall hold a ceremony tomorrow for the baby if it is okay with you.'’
The Duke looked at his wife with love and pride in his heart, thankful for this second love that he found. ‘'What would have I done without you?'’
Sofia giggled. ‘'I wonder too.'’
-----
The baby no longer cried from day to night. He no longer was called a whiny baby. The manor was no longer filled with the cries of the baby and no tension of the Dukes wrath was in the air. The pack had their new Luna to put things in the right place, same goes for the child, who looked at Sofia as his own mother. It seemed like what the baby was missing, was a mother. He cried from day to night because he wanted to be near his mother, he whined because he wanted to be fed by his mother. It wasn’t the baby’s fault. He was just...lonely.
And now, the baby finally had a name. A name Sofia had given him.
His name was Stefanos.
-Zohara
Stefanos was a bright child now that he was growing up well thanks to his step mother Sofia, who did everything she could to make her little pup happy.Yes, Sofia has now claimed Stefanos as her own pup, although he was born from a different mother, nothing could compare to the way Sofia adored and cherished him.The pup was now 5 years old and he still had those adorable features as a little child, he often played with the other pups from their neighbouring houses, and sometimes practised swordsmanship with his father, as his father claimed that all Alphas are born to be strong, and dominant. He was the future Alpha or Duke in line and had the right to protect his pack and future mate. Stefanos always did what his father wanted so he didn’t protest on anything. However, sometimes Stefanos had a different interest which for other Alphas would be too feminine or Omega-ish. He had a certain interest in flowers, and loved seeing how the flowers in
The Duke walked in with slow steps, his eyes down cast as he made his way inside the manor and headed for the stair case that would take him to his study. As he walked, he heard laughter ringing in the distance, laughter of his remaining sons and his Omega, followed by their rapid footsteps as the neared him.“Daddy! Daddy daddy daddy look! I beat Demos in sword sparring!” Kiekie exclaimed with a giggle, rushing to the Alpha and sprinting to his older brother who walked with elegant strides alongside his mother. Behind them came Elias, the eldest of the three in all his handsome glory and wolf pride. The Duke stared at what Kiekie was showing him, but no hint of mirth crossed his face. His heart was still aching from the empty farewell that he had bid his son, the look of blankness in Stefanos face haunting him as he wondered what he had made his son- an empty shell.“Honey, Kiekie is telling you something.” Sofia interrupted her h
~Full of loneliness This garden bloomed Full of thorns I bind myself in this sand castle~ -(BTS) The Truth Untold ------ Staying locked up in a faraway tower wasn’t the best of times for Stefanos, but he was already getting used to it, as the silence and his garden calmed him. It was at least better than the chaos and harsh insults which used to be thrown at him during his stay at his old residence. Today felt no different than the others. As Stefanos walked with lazy steps toward the garden with his long dark rob trailing behind him. He wasn’t surprised to find that Wraya was
~What is your nameDo you have a place to goOh could you tell me?I saw you hiding in this garden~ -(BTS) The Truth Untold ---------- Stefanos It's a girl. I repeated it to myself. The thief is a girl. But not just any girl, a beautiful one at that. And she was also a werewolf. An Omega. I stood there rooted to my spot, my eyes fixated on the girl as she bend down to steal more of my flowers, cutting them carefully and placing them in a basket. She looked so carefree as if she was merely plucking flowers from her own garden and not trespassing into private territory. And yet I couldn't bring myself to move. There were so many questions in my head, so many things I wanted to know, but it seemed like my body forgot the function of talking. No lo
~I wanna be a good man, just for youI gave the world, just for youI changed everything, just for youBut I don't know me,Who are you?~ -(BTS) Fake Love Stefanos: “Why are you following me?” “I wasn’t?” I said, unsure about the reason myself. Why was I following her again? “Do you think I didn’t notice a certain someone with a hood and mask covering himself, following me for the past few days? You should have done a better job if you wanted a disguise, you know.” The girl said, clearly an edge of annoyance laced in her voice. “I told you. I wasn’t following you; I just had the same destination as you.” “HA! And why should I believe you!” She said, very much aggravated by how the situation was turning. Suddenly she was

You have made it quite clear in the last forty minutes." "I can't believe you said that." "Stop rubbing it in my face." "You are terrible at socializing." "Wraya-" "You could have just stayed quiet if you-" "Wraya if you don't stop this instant I swear to the Moon Goddess I will send you back to your mother once and for all." Silence. "Yes sire." I sigh in frustration, watching as the huge figure of Wraya retreated with his wings folded behind him. Messing up my hairs and grunting to myself, I looked down at the garden below, the b
~Your smile, even your scentI’ve always waited, counting down with my fingersNo matter where I am, it’s only you~ -(IOI) I Love You, I Remember You Stefanos: "No one has ever stood up for me like you did." The same sentence has been going on repeat through my head like a mantra. If I could rephrase her sentence I could always say that the words referenced a certain pick-up line that has been used by Alpha’s trying to woo Omegas: You're the first person to treat me like that. Wasn't that an alpha thing to do? I could hardly wrap my head around the thought of how foolishly bold the flower thief was becoming. For a moment a surge of protectiveness came over me when I thought about what would have been the consequences if she told the same to other alpha’s who gave a hand in helping her? Would she say the same thing to everyone? The wolf in me almost growled with the thought yet the human side in me wasn't ready to acknowledge my wolf's sudden change in attitude t

It doesn't take a genius to know that Stefanos was restless as he paced the entirety of his chambers briskly. Wraya watched his master gnawing at his fingernails in concentration, a frown edged on the red beast's face. For hours Stefanos just circled around, ignoring all the questions Wraya threw at him. The beast sighed, covering himself with his leather wings before he deadpanned. "It's the flower thief isn't it?" Stefanos stopped abruptly, the mention of Xenia sending his heart to a marathon. He turned to the Dragon with his eyebrows knitted together. "Whatever made you come to that conclusion Wraya?" "You haven't taken off your mask yet, sire." Stefanos turned towards his mirror only to realize that it's shroud
