Late at night the next day, Holly's fingers still hurt. She tossed and turned in bed before finally falling asleep.

Bryce lay beside her and put his arm around her.

His phone vibrated suddenly.

Bryce was afraid that it would wake Holly, so he put it on silent mode and pulled her arm out gently from under her neck. He wanted to take the call outside.

"Just take it here. Don't go outside. It's cold," Holly said considerately.

"She keeps crying and asking to see you. Is it convenient for you to come and see her?"
