Rachel's POV...
I didn't have time to think about anything other than hopping inside the car and closing the door to escape the creepy stalker. The guy on the driver's seat hit the gas and rushes off out of the scene, leaving the creepy stalker standing near the dumpling shop alone."Ok, how in the world did you know I was here?" I ask the guy with curiousity."Aren't you suppose to be a little happy that I saved you from a possible criminal?" he says with a chill tone as he keeps his vision on the road.I sigh at the thought of his statement being right. Yes, I should be happy that this guy actually came at the right time to save me from that creepy stalker."I'm sorry. I should have thanked you for letting me in your car. Thank you for saving me, Alex," I say as I feel quite embarrassed."Hey! Don't sweat it. I'm glad that I was able to save you on time," says Alex.I take a glance at him who is still focus on the road. I'm still wondering how did the brunette knew where I was at this time, but I thought about talking about it later. I'm literally so tired from all the running."By the way, would you mind to join me for dinner and some drinks?" says Alex.I thought about his offer for a moment. Well, I am kind of hungry, and I guess having some drinks with this guy won't hurt. Besides, I do need a drink right now to chill my mind from the whole stalker thing."Sure," I say."Cool. We'll arrive at my favorite spot soon," Alex says.At Judy's Cafe Club...We arrive at a small yet cozy cafe. The place isn't too loud, which I felt comfortable since I'm not really into loud places. Alex and I take a seat as the waitress approach us to take our orders."I'll have one pasta and a glass of red wine," Alex says."One pasta and a glass of red wine. And how about you, Miss?" the waitress ask."I'll have a bowl of corn soup and a glass of water," I tell the waitress."One bowl of corn soup and a glass of water," says the waitress as she puts her note away. "We'll be back with your order soon." The waitress starts walking back to the kitchen."You're not drinking tonight?" ask Alex as he raise one of his eyebrows at me."Nope. I have to go to college tomorrow morning. I wouldn't want to wake up with a bad hangover," I say.Alex gives me a small smirk as he stares into my eyes. "Just a little drink won't give a bad hangover," he says. "I don't really want to be lonely AND drunk tonight, but I guess getting drunk is a lot more fun with a friend, am I right?" he says with a small flirty smile. Did he just try to flirt me?I roll my eyes though I could feel my cheeks blushing a deep shade of red. He lets out a small laugh at he stares at me. Come to think of it, he does have a point that a little drink won't give a bad hangover, and I really do want to have a drink tonight. I guess it won't hurt to have a little drink. The waitress soon comes out with our drinks."Thank you. Oh, and I would like to order a bottle of red wine," says Alex as the waitress serves us our drinks."One bottle of red wine coming up, Sir!" says the waitress.Alex turns his head to face me with a smile. I start to get mesmerize by his charming smile. The waitress soon comes back with a bottle of red wine and two empty glasses. The waitress opens the bottle and pours the red wine into the two glasses.Alex raises his glass with a smile. I smile at him and raise my glass as well."Cheers!" says Alex with a small, seductive smile. The two of us takes a small sip of the red wine. I take this chance to ask him some questions since I'm still confuse, while we enjoy our drinks."So...how did you know I was near the cafe?" I ask him with curiousity."Well, let's say I happened to pass by when I saw you. I thought you were in trouble," says Alex before he takes another sip of his wine. "But hey, maybe I could reveal more details to you once I get drunk."I roll my eyes as he lets out a small laugh. Is this guy really serious? He's gonna wait until he's drunk to spill all the details? This is not funny."Well, if you get drunk first, will you tell me more details?" I ask."Of course. But as a fair game, I would like you to also join me in this drinking competition," says Alex as he gives me a small wink.My cheeks starts blushing again as I roll my eyes. "Then let the competition begin!" I say with a confident tone. I couldn't help but accept this silly offer of him. Not only did I want to know more details about how did he find me, but because a part of me actually wanted to get drunk tonight with him.The waitress soon comes out of the kitchen with our food. She serves us our food before going back to the kitchen again."Cheers for tonight!" I say as I raise my glass."Cheers to the competition!" Alex says as the two of us ends up laughting before we take a sip of our wine.An hour passed by, and we eventually drank more and more glasses of wine. I'm starting to feel pretty drunk, my words even became sloppy. My head is spinning and my body feels so tired."So...did I win?" I ask as I lay my head down on the table."Damn kid, you're so drunk right now," says Alex with a slightly drunk tone."I'm not a kid," I say with a drunk tone."You're kinda cute," says Alex as he lifts up my messy hair that was covering my face. The next day....I woke up with a pretty bad headache. My head is still spinning badly. I try to recall everything that happened last night, when I realize that I had fallen asleep in an unfamilliar room. Wait...where am I? This isn't my room. What happened?I look at the right side of the bed to see an alarm clock on the small white table. I grab the alarm clock and see that it's 8 AM."Where am I? What happened?" I say to myself."You got pretty drunk last night, so I decided to take you here to get some rest."I recognized that soft voice. I turn my head to see Alex standing in front of me with his hair wet and a towel wrapped around his shoulders. He is shirtless and is only wearing some black baggy gym pants. He lets out a small smile as he sees me staring at him with a mesmerize look."You like what you see?" he ask with a flirty tone."Umm...sorry," I say as I snap back to my sense. I really hope didn't notice me staring at his tone abs, but I guess he did."Where am I?" I ask him."You're in my room. The guest room was still a mess so I just put you here last night," he says as he opens his closet to look for his shirt.I sigh as I lay down and cover my face with a pillow. I won't be able to go to college today with this headache, plus I need to find an excuse to give to my mom when she ask me where have I been all night. I stood up to get my phone from my bag.I was about to call my mom and told her I stayed at a friend's house last night, when I hear a knock on the door."Who is it?" I ask Alex."Just my friend," says Alex as he opens the door to reveal a guy with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes entering the room."Bro! Breakfast is ready," says the guy."Thanks. We'll be down in a second," says Alex."Ok," says the guy before he glance at me. "And you...how's your head?" he ask me."Umm..obviously, still in a headache," I say.The guy gives me a cheeky smile. "I'm Nate by the way. What's your name?""Rachel," I say."Cool," Nate says to me. "I'll be heading down now. See you!" says Nate to Alex before he walks out of the door.Alex puts on his white tank top and turns around to look at me who is still lying down on his bed."Shall we have breakfast now?" says Alex with a bright smile as he stares into my eyes. Again I find myself lost in his beautiful green eyes and mesmerized by his charming smile."Umm..sure. But I'm gonna call my mom first just so she won't worry about where have I been all night," I say."Ok. I'll meet you downstairs. See you!" says Alex before he walks out of the room.A few minutes later....I walk downstairs to see Alex, Nate, and another guy having breakfast together in the dining room."Good morning," I say to the three guys as I pull out an empty seat next to Alex."Does your head still hurt?" ask the guy sitting next to Nate."Yes. I think I drank too much wine last night," I say as I take sip of the orange juice. "I hope I didn't gave this guy too much trouble," I reffer to Alex who is drinking his cup of coffee."Haha, no worries. Alex here actually thought you looked hot when you were drunk," says the guy, in which he made Nate burst into laughter."Liam!" says Alex with an annoyed tone. "I only said she looked kinda cute."Liam lets out a small laugh as he looks at me who is in the middle of eating my chicken soup. "What's your name?" Liam ask me."I'm Rachel. And you?" I ask him."I'm Liam. Nice to meet you," says Liam as he gives me a warm small smile. I smile back at him."We also have another friend who will be coming back from LA today," Nate says before taking a spoon of his soup. ""Meet me? Why?" I ask with confusion before I glance at Alex who just finished his bowl of porridge."It's a surprise," says Alex as he gives me a wink. He gets up from his seat and walks to the kitchen to put his bowl in the sink.I awkwardly stare at Nate and Liam who are almost finish with their soup. I'm starting to get confuse about all the puzzle pieces Alex's been throwing at me since last night. From how did he find out where I was, to this. I eventually finish my bowl of porridge. I stood up from my seat to put the bowl in the sink, when I hear the door bell ring.At the living room..."Ah, he's back," says Alex as he walks to the front door to open it."Hey bro! Welcome back," says Alex en as he greets his friend who just got back from LA, Jack."Hey little bro," says Liam as he walks to the living room followed by Nate."Man, what a trip," says Jack as he places his bags down and streches his arms out."Well you look like you could use a glass of water," says Alex with a smirk as he knew that Jack would be really happy to see Rachel.Jack forms a small smile. "Where is she?""In the kitchen," Alex says."Ok, thanks," Jack says as he walks away. He was about to walk into the kitchen, when he sees Rachel walking out of the kitchen and almost bumping in to him. The two enter a surprising eye contact."Rachel?" says Jack as he studies her face carefully. He is surprised to see that his best friend didn't change much. Messy brunette hair complete with emerald green eyes, that's her."Jack Pierce?" says Rachel in a shock tone. She couldn't believe she's standing in front of her childhood best friend who had been away from her for years. To be continueRachel's POV..."Oh my, it really is you," says Jack as he forms a big smile while staring into my eyes."Jack," I say as I stare into his blue eyes. I couldn't believe that I'm really standing in front of Jack right now. My childhood friend, my old best friend. After all these years, we've finally meet again, after I thought that it was impossible since I've never told him that I've moved to New York City. I'm beyond happy to see him again. He's still the same Jack knew with his youthful smile.I couldn't help but feel tears slowly starting to fill my eyes. I've missed him so much, and looking at him right now just makes me feel like I want to make up for the lost time. Without any hesitation, I pull him into a tight hug as I bury my face in his chest, slowly letting the tears run down my face. "It's you..." I say in a soft tone as the tears continue to run.Jack hugs me tightly as I got lost in his embrace. "Rachel," he says with a soft tone. "I miss you..""I miss you too, Jack,"
The next day...Rachel's POV....After having breakfast with my mom, I start to do the dirty dishes since I still have some spare time before Alex arrives. After I finished with dishes, I was about to check my bag and when I hear a loud honk coming from outside. "Who is that?" ask my mom.The thought of Alex suddenly came across my mind. I let out a sigh. "Just my friend who promised to pick me up." "Ah ok," says mom. "Is he your boyfriend?""No. We literally just met at college," I say. "I gotta go now. Bye mom!"I grab my blue bag from the living room and walk out of the door to see a black car parked in front of my house. The car window slolwy opens as Alex gives me a sassy wink."Good morning, Gorgeous!" says Alex with a bright smile.I roll my eyes at his cheesy greeting. "Yeah, good morning," I say as I open the car door to enter and sit next to him. "So did you sleep well last night?" Alex ask as he keeps his vision on the road as he drives."Yes," I say. "How about you?" I
A few hours later...At the boys' house..."Chicken omelette is served," says Liam after he finished cooking some dishes for dinner along with Nate."The smell is already alluring me," says Nate as he puts a plate of stir fried vegetables on the dining table.Just then, the door bell rang and Nate decides to walk and open the door. Alex walks in with bags full of groeceries in his hands."Bro, you're back," Nate says. "Yeah, these are the groceries," says Alex as he walks to the kitchen area to put down the groceries.Alex puts down the groceries in the kitchen as he starts to sort them out. He had put aside a bag of vegetables since he knew Liam wanted to cook stir fry vegetables as well for tonight. After putting the groceries away, Alex wash his hands and walks back to the living room. He notice that Jack is not in sight, though it's almost dinner time."Where's Jack?" ask Alex with curiousity."Oh, he went out to pick up Rachel," says Liam as he starts preparing the plates."What
"Jack," I say, fear starting to take over my voice. "Someone's here..."Jack pulls away with a puzzled look. "Who's here?" he ask with confusion."There's a man behind you. He's wearing a black cap and a mask," I say in a low tone, fearing that if I talk too loud, the man could hear us. "I think he's a friend of the stalker..."Jack turns his head to observe the beach and notice the guy is standing not far from them. He looks like he's smoking as he watches the waves."Hold my hand. Let's get out of here before he starts trouble," says Jack as he holds my hand tightly. "Yes," I say.The two of us starts walking out of the beach. Just when we almost reach our car, the man from the beach suddenly walks in front of us covering our way along with his friend, who is none other than the creepy stalker I saw a few days ago."Well, well, look at the kid," says the man with a wicked tone."Rachel, hide behind me," Jack says in a whisper tone. I slowly hide behind his back.I could feel footst
At the boys' house...Alex and Rachel arrives at the house. The two of them starts walking to the kitchen to make dinner, which Rachel insisted that she wants to help Alex with cooking."What are you cooking?" Rachel ask as she watches Alex mixing up some vegetables and chopped chickens."I'm trying to stir fry vegetables with seasoned chickens," says Alex as he continues to stir fry the vegetables and chickens."Looks good," says Rachel as she continue to stir some eggs on a bowl, since she's planning to make a sponge cake for dessert."Well, not as good as you," Alex says as he turns his head for a moment to give Xiali a wink. This guy is such a flirt. Rachel thought as she roll her eyes. "You always know how to smooth talk, even when you're cooking," Rachel says while continueing to stir the eggs in the bowl."I'm not smooth talking though. I'm just saying what's in my heart," Alex says with a sassy tone."Yeah right," says Rachel as she puts a spoon of sugar to the bowl. "And you

Though he still has a bit of a headache, he remembered well how did he eventually got to this place in the first. It's a good thing he is pretty strong with drinks, otherwise he could have forgotten about last night. Suddenly he hears the bathroom door open, revealing Olivia walking out of the bathroom while wearing a bathrobe."Rise and shine," says Olivia with a smile as she walks over to the bed to sit next to Sebastian. "Do you still have a headache?""A little, but it'll get better," says Sebastian. "What about you?""I'm way better now. I didn't drink too much last night," says Olivia as she rest her head on Sebastian's shoulder. "I wouldn't wanna get too drunk. I have to control myself." Sebastian smiles at Olivia. "That's good.
