Chapter 5: A Night to Remember

Alex and I walked out of the restaurant hand in hand, and the cool night air hit our faces. The stars were shining brightly in the sky, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of calmness as I walked beside him. We talked about everything and nothing, and the conversation just flowed naturally between us.

As we got closer to my house, Alex stopped and turned to me. "I had a great time tonight, Andrea. Thank you for coming out with me," he said with a smile.

I smiled back at him, feeling my heart race. "I had a great time too, Alex. Thank you for everything."

He leaned in and hugged me tightly, and I felt my body relax in his embrace. I hugged him back, and I could feel his warmth against my skin.

Just as he was about to enter the taxi, he stopped and turned to me. Our eyes locked, and I could feel the tension between us. I didn't know what to do, but I felt a strong urge to kiss him.

Before I knew it, I had rushed forward and pressed my lips against his. At first, he was taken aback, but then he relaxed into the kiss and deepened it. It was like the whole world had stopped, and there was just the two of us in that moment.

When we finally broke apart, we were both out of breath. "I'm sorry," I whispered, feeling embarrassed.

Alex chuckled and shook his head. "Don't be sorry, Andrea. I wanted to do that too."

As he got into the taxi and drove off, I stood there, feeling overwhelmed with emotions. I couldn't believe what had just happened, and I didn't know what it meant for us.

I walked into my house, feeling like I was walking on clouds. I couldn't wait to tell my friends about what had just happened. I picked up my phone and dialed Sarah's number.

"Hey, Andrea. How was your date with Alex?" Sarah asked excitedly.

"It was amazing, Sarah. We had a great time, and something else happened too," I said, trying to contain my excitement.

"What happened? Tell me everything," Sarah demanded.

"I kissed him, Sarah. I kissed Alex," I said, feeling a rush of emotions.

"What? Oh my God, Andrea. That's amazing!" Sarah exclaimed.

"I know, right? But I don't know what it means for us. I don't even know if he likes me like that," I said, feeling unsure.

"Don't worry about it, Andrea. If he kissed you back, then he definitely likes you. Just take it slow and see where it goes," Sarah advised.

I knew she was right, but I can't wait to see Alex again .
