“You have to calm down ma’am, it’s not that serious, we have it under control even. Just that we caught this guy trying to take one of the triplets away, he’s claiming the child to be his, that he’s their father, we thought to bring it to your attention before further steps are taken,” The man explained.

Sylvie recognized the voice to be that of her kids’ principal. He was calling from their school.

“Huh?” Sylvie furrowed her brows, “Oh,” she sighed, her mind coming to ease. “This guy you talked about, do you know his name or anything about him? Is he still with you?” She quizzed.

“He is still with us, and he’s not telling us who he is other than being the kid’s father-“

“Whoever that is not the father of my kids!” Sylvie chirped into the man’s sentence. “Please keep him with you, I’ll be right there.” Sylvie told him, dropping the call.

She looked at Mikel who has his stoic gaze on her the whole time. He nodded at her, “You can go,” he said, and immediately walked out
