“Mr. Carson, thank you so much. I don't know what I would have done without you. It's not as if we are related or something. You just made many sacrifices for myself and Helen. Thank you, so so much.” Lydia stared at the man with appreciation. She is still thrilled at why Carson always helps her, even when she didn't have anything to give to him in return.

“Lydia, it's alright. I am glad you are happy and comfortable. And mostly, you are beginning to stand up for yourself.” Carson praised her with a smile, he placed his hand on her shoulder and said,

“So please be up on time, prepare Khloé on time, and head straight to the company the moment you drop Khloé up. You know, first impressions matter a lot”.

“Of course,” Lydia breathed out, “I will do that, Mr. Carson. Let me go take my bath and head straight to bed.”
