*Lilac* So unlike the stories that we were told about Lycans. I have come to realize that Lycans and werewolves are totally different from what we thought them to be and I live in a city of Lycans. Werewolves are ancient and have gone into extinction. These Lykae people though are just as humane as we are except they have beyond natural genes that are akin to that of wolves.. Which means they don't have wolves spirit living in their head, neither do they transform to wolves. They only phase out their magic from time to time.Furry bodies.. Sharp eyesight.. Fast movement. Alcohol immunity and a lot more magical abilities peculiar to each person which I learned increases according to their ranks. Alpha(s), Beta(s), Delta(s) and Omega(s). Two weeks has passed, and I seem to be getting an hang of Lupin Academy and Lycania in general...but not my husband. I don't think I have even laid my eyes on him since that day at the clinic. He didn't even come for his class last week.
----- *Kael* For once in his life, my Father's happy face is directed at me. "You've made a good choice son," he says. "I always knew you had it in you to be reasonable." I plaster a fake grin on my face as General Caulder shakes hands with my father, his own grin as wide as saucers. "It is wonderful to have such talented and wonderful warrior like Prince Kael in Lycania army...it is such a great addition," he says. I almost roll my eyes. I will watch my back if I were him. Father nods at Caulder one last time before he gets into the car. I still hate that he insisted on coming here to suite his ego. He probably thinks I'm doing this because I'm finally taking his advice. If only he knew. The Barracks is buzzing when we walk through the door. The whole place is practically a hive of activity. Soldiers everywhere and women hurrying around carrying trays and cleaning gear and supplies. As always, I try not to take too much notice of everyone. Even though
*Lilac* Do you know what happens when your very hot husband whom you haven't seen for two weeks decides to come home? Especially when he is looking so rugged in a cargo pants and a button down white shirt? You don't? Well, here is the thing. Your brain freezes. Your heart goes into a fucking overdrive, and you completely loose it. "Hi." Fucking hell. Who says hi in a situation like this? Me, definitely. There is silence. Thirty seconds of traitorous silence, until I see his lips twitch and then he bursts into a full blown laughter. What the actual fuck? I am surprised, confused even as he continues laughing. Is he drunk? Lycan don't get drunk, right? "Princess," He says, stalking closer to me. He called me Princess, not Lilac. I don't swell on his newfound pet name for me. Should I run? What the hell is going on here? I take a step back, hoping to easily slip away because Kael does not seem to be in his right sense. His ever blue eyes are glazy and not focused. Is thi
*LILAC* Did I say nothing could possibly go wrong? Guess that was a lie, everything is wrong. I should officially sign up as an advocate against gossips because the whispers and not-so-whispers going around are terrible. "Do you think he married a moon-mad Lycan like himself?" Oh, did I forget to say that Kira and I have a class together this morning, and damn right is she so overbearing with this talks. "How would I know?" I give her my very best fake smile. "After all I am new here." I answer with a roll of my eyes. "Ah, true." She stops talking for a while, and then leans in close. "Can you wonder why he joined the Lyncs though? He was doing pretty well in the academia." She doesn't wait for me to reply as she continues, "perhaps it has to do with his sickness. Such a shame. Only if he wasn't married, like goddess I would totally do him moon-mad or not." Fucking hell! I want to scream but I don't, I stay silent not giving her reply. She finally gives up on ge
LILAC "Come with me." And for the second time today, I am following a stranger to God knows where. How very wise of you, Lilac. Professor Carla does not take me to her office here. She is leading me to the staff's parking lot and I can only assume we are going to her home or not. We stop in front of a sleek black Audi A6 and Professor Carla opens the back door and motions for me to get into the car. I do as I am told and close the door behind me, the smell of expensive fabric assaulting my nose and my eyes water from the scent. This car smells like money, and not the kind of money that comes from just owning a large amount of land.Professor Carla goes around to the other side and sits down in her seat and begins to drive, proceeding at a breakneck speed. It doesn't take long until she takes us out of the parking lot onto an unmarked road, before turning onto a different one. The ride is not quick, maybe thirty minutes tops, and the scenery outside is beauti
KAEL Why is her scent the first thing that welcones me? My face scrunched, I frown at Carla who is so peacefully poised in her meditative state that she didn't even acknowledge me when I came in. "Lilac was here." "Glad to know you haven't lost your touch moon child." She replies me, still not leaving her position and also not opening her eyes either. Having worked ten hours without stopping, looking through files and stamping a lot of them, I wasn't ready for whatever tricks Carla had up her sleeves. "Why was she here, Carla?" "That's rich coming from you who literally abandoned her at your suite. That girl is too innocent to be left alone, Kael!" She snaps as she finally opens her eyes to regard my presence. As if I do not know Carla is right, but I am too selfish to want Lilac. She is so freaking young and human, and that scent of hers that distracts me. She does not need me to freak her out. "I know what you are thinking, but you are wrong if you actua
LILACI still don’t know what to think of Kael, perhaps he would decline my request. His hands freeze on the doorknob on hearing it, and I hold my breath at the fear of his reaction. I do not know him enough to predict what he would do next, but when he whirls around to face me, his blue eyes brightly gazing at me with all intensity, somehow I know he wouldn’t refuse."Will you come in here?" He asks, pushing the door of his room wide open. I gulp and then slowly enter with him following behind me. The door clicks shut and the lights flare to life. We are both standing in the middle of his room and to avoid further awkwardness, I go to sit at his study table. I feel his gaze on me as I take my seat and the heat that pulsates through me scares me. I should not feel this attracted to him, because I can not lie and say I don’t feel the underlying sizzling attraction that draws me to him and keeps my mind aware of him even when he is not there."What do you say to your always ab
-There is so much tension between us, I want you to feel it- *LILAC*Maybe I should have waited outside like Kael told me to, but seeing the pitiful man crouching helplessly on the floor, I am totally torn between two decisions."He has to leave! Now!" Kael’s voice is firm. Gone is the flirty husband that he was minutes before this man broke in. Now in his eyes, those burning heated gazes are now replaced with something far more dangerous. I should blame Alvin who says he is Roman’s brother for disrupting our moment, perhaps if he had not barged in, Kael and I would have... Would have what though?"He is hurt," I tell Kael, "we should at least help him.""He is a criminal. We will not house a criminal." Right. He broke out of prison apparently."I am not just any criminal. I was wrongly accused and you know it!" Alvin protests, staggering on his feet as he pushes himself up. He groans, obviously in pain and my gaze softens at his chafed stance. I do not know what he
