Chapter 55: Now What?
“What is going on?” I ask Dominic quickly as I hear loud noises in the courtyard over the cries of the pups.
He glances out the window and then turns around to answer me with a worried tone to his voice, “There is a fight down below. Watch them, I will be back soon. In the meantime, bolt the door shut. I don’t know if it is the beginning of trouble or just an actual argument. If it is trouble, don’t let a single soul through those doors.”
