Chapter 8: A Surprise Visit

After exiting Mr. Risso’s Office, I felt a sudden tension releasing out of me. I started walking towards the elevator and barged in, I pressed the button to the ground floor. The Elevator stopped at the 3rd floor and a man in a suit entered the elevator.

He smiled at me so I smiled back. I always took the elevator and it was normal for someone to join in, so I didn’t feel weird. I don’t know why but 2 minutes in this elevator felt like 2 hours.

“Hey” The man in the suit said.

“Hello” I replied back and looked at my watch, not to see the time but to feel less awkward. I never saw him in the office, it looks like a new face to me.

“I’ve been seeing you lately. I find you very cute.”

I didn’t reply to him, but I just smiled and nodded. The doors to the elevator finally opened as we reached the ground floor.

Phew! Thank God!
