My father walked me down the passage to the chapel and I felt butterflies flapping their wings inside my stomach! We followed all the laws that had to be followed to make this official and legal, but tweaked some of it where it wouldn’t affect any of the legalities. Our mating ceremony was a new beginning for our kingdom and Spenser and I wanted it to be unique, but legal.

The double doors opened and as I walked in, guided by my father, my emotions overwhelmed me. I didn’t know if I should be laughing or crying for joy. It was a moment I didn’t allow myself to think I would ever have. I hoped, but I always told myself not to. When Spenser threw me away, I thought it was over.
