In the morning, the beautification process started. I honestly couldn’t understand why I had to be put through all of it just so people could stare at me, but my father insisted, and I didn’t want to disappoint him. I wanted him to be proud. I also wanted to rub it in the faces of all the people who ever belittled me or tried to make me feel less worthy.

I was a lowly omega when I was chased away like a dog. I returned as the queen of the rogues. That in itself was huge. I also looked different, and I knew most of them would notice it instantly.
