The dancing was still the best part for Raeya, even if she was not good at it.

She scanned the crowd for any signs of Aegis. The parade was over. Aren't they supposed to be here already?

The soft voice of a child's request made her reach out her hand automatically but quickly withdrew it when she saw she was not the one being asked. She was used to it that it was always her attention that people sought after when it comes to events such as these.

Raeya just nodded. She searched the surroundings and her eyes rested on a lady resting in front of a nearby stall. A girl of about eight was offering her a plate of sweets.
