33: Ridiculous

Rachel and I had been arguing a lot lately. Since Dana reappeared in my life, Rachel had been nervous all the time. Since our last fight about the lawsuit, we haven't spoken. We hadn't even slept in the same bed. Rachel sent me to the guest room.

Rachel was a complicated woman. We couldn't talk without fighting. I preferred not to upset her. Maybe Rachel needed space to think and calm down.

I visited Dana at her house. I noticed she seemed strange and nervous. Jeremy practically kicked me out of the house. Dana ran toward the stairs. She looked like she was in a hurry.

He laughed. But I was serious. I didn't smile. I looked at him sternly.
