73. Lying

“I’ll need all that extra food because you made me drink a lot last night,” Dimitri said, gesturing to the cook to bring back the food she was taking back to the kitchen.

I couldn’t help but laugh. We had gone to celebrate the rest of Dimitri’s birthday at a club, together with some of our friends.

We had a very good time and we made him take 26 shots because it was his birthday. We returned very late and that was the reason woke up late even if we had to ride back to Sparkle Falls with our family.

After a short while, I finished up my meal but Dimitri was still eating. “What are you staring at me for?” Dimitri asked with his mouth full of food when he saw me looking at him.

“We don’t have much time, so hurry up,” I said and he nodded his head.

“Thank you for yesterday though, you all are the best.” Dimitri appreciated, his voice filled with sincerity. “Even with everything that has happened, you all still did something nice for me.”

“You’re still my brother, no matter
