Chapter 40

Mira's Pov

It's been a few weeks since the whole thing had happened. Although there was a great sense of peace in the atmosphere around me, for some reason I felt it was never going to last long. I really can't tell why I thought this way, but the feeling just keeps coming. Probably, not while the culprit is still around the pack, planning my ruin.

I walked out of my room, heading out to look around the pack. To at least, have a check of the peaceful atmosphere rally round the pack. Seeing how quiet the pack has become made me feel there could be less trouble stirring up. The culprit must be something that knows the in and out of the pack. With this, I am forced to take up the challenge and give back what is required of me for an equal and fair living. I kept the whole thoughts aside like nothing ever happened and faced what's before me. Getting myself worried about the past can interfere with my plans for the future.
