Chapter 55

Brick

I was in my office doing some paperwork when the alarm went off in one of the play rooms. I check the monitor to see what room it is. I check and that room is supposed to be empty tonight. I stand up to go check it out hoping it is just a malfunction. But for some reason my gut is telling me it isn’t. I radio Fred as I leave my office. “ Fred alert in room six. Meet me to check it out. Probably a malfunction.” I say. “  What do you mean boss? Are you in the room with Diamond?” he asks. My stomach drops and I run down the hall to the stairs leading to the ground floor. I yell into the mic “ I never called Diamond in. She isn’t supposed to be here.”  “ What the hell?” Fred yells. 

I will get to the bottom of this later. Right now I need to check on Speed
