“Amelia?” he asks, with a look of disbelief on his face.

“Yes, your ex-girlfriend.” I reply sharply.

“How can you be sure it was her? How do you even know her?” He asks me with the same look on his face.

“Didn’t I just say I saw her with your mom, your mom told me who she was to you Chris and I saw her when I took the bag they placed over my face off, I saw her with my two eyes, I do not forget a face” I reply coldly.

“If Amelia did this, she’ll pay for it I promise, just calm down” he says to me putting his hand over mine.

I pull my hand away from under his. If she did it? Did he really just say if?

“I told you that I saw her with your mom talking at the restaurant the other day and then she kidnapped me and just before the cops came to rescue me I saw her again face to face and you still say if she did it?” I ask him, trying to suppress the anger brewing inside me.
