15. Brunch and Shopping

“Liliana, how are you feeling?” Rebecca questions while rushing over and pulls me into her arms.

“I’m ok,” I whisper while holding onto my mom and looking at Raven and our dad wondering if I should tell her.

“Good, I love you and I’m sorry if I ever scare you,” Rebecca apologizes while running her fingers through my hair and smiles at me like she is relieved.

“I love you too Mom,” I sigh deeply kissing her cheek then sit down between my parents for Raven to sits across from me.

“I’ve already put our order in, is everything ok?” Rebecca questions while looking at me in concern and I nod not wanting to worry her.

“Yeah, I’m ok,” I say, looking over at Raven and holding my stomach not sure what to do as she nods her head encouraging me to talk.

“I’m 20 weeks pregnant with a boy,” I softly speak, my voice quivers a little while watching Raven who looks like she is about to lose control.
