Liliana’s POV “Hey,” Raven whispers when we both wake up alone in the room. “Hi,” I sigh while looking down at my stomach feeling Raven pull me into her warm arms where she holds me tight. “Are you ok all things considered,” Raven question while running her fingers through my hair. I can feel her protective aura slowly fill the room covering us like a soothing warm blanket. “I don’t know, I’m having Jonathan’s baby…I just don’t know what to do,” I whisper while looking up trying to fight back the tears flooding my eyes not sure how to feel. “Alright girls we’re here, we’re going to go straight back to an exam room, Liliana you’ll need to change into a gown after the nurse takes your vitals,” Dad explains while parking in front of a very nice doctor’s office near the hospital. “Ok,” I yawn while walking close to our dad with Raven behind me. “You don’t need to be afraid here, the people here are very professional,” Dad says after greeting the people at the front desk then leads us through a door that opens to a hallway with doors to exam rooms. “This seems nice,” Raven comments while looking around as I nod my head staying close to Dad and holding onto his arm. “Ok Liliana a nurse should be in, in just a moment she’s going to take your vitals while I get a chart set up for you. Once she’s done change into this gown for a pelvic exam,” our dad explains while grabbing a gown from a cupboard and places it on the counter as Raven stands by the exam table. “Thank you, Daddy,” I sigh while hugging him as tight as I can. “Y

“Liliana, how are you feeling?” Rebecca questions while rushing over and pulls me into her arms. “I’m ok,” I whisper while holding onto my mom and looking at Raven and our dad wondering if I should tell her. “Good, I love you and I’m sorry if I ever scare you,” Rebecca apologizes while running her fingers through my hair and smiles at me like she is relieved. “I love you too Mom,” I sigh deeply kissing her cheek then sit down between my parents for Raven to sits across from me. “I’ve already put our order in, is everything ok?” Rebecca questions while looking at me in concern and I nod not wanting to worry her. “Yeah, I’m ok,” I say, looking over at Raven and holding my stomach not sure what to do as she nods her head encouraging me to talk. “I’m 20 weeks pregnant with a boy,” I softly speak, my voice quivers a little while watching Raven who looks like she is about to lose control. “How far?” Rebecca questions while looking at me then our dad who grabs my hand trying to comfor

Raven’s POV I quickly become lost in my head while looking at everything for Liliana; I can’t help imagining what Jonathan did to her and all of the turmoil it has caused her. I try to focus on just helping Liliana and making her feel like she has support, but it feels like a losing battle. “Raven,” Rebecca whispers with her hand gently on my back finding me standing in front of a shelf holding a pillow with my temperature rapidly rising. “Mom,” I whimper while letting go of the pillow realizing my claws are out. “What’s your problem?” I ask wanting to wipe the disgusting looks off their perfectly smug blonde faces. “You’re in my house!” Michelle nearly screams at us making Liliana flinch since she has never been confrontational. “Michelle, knock it off now; you will be respectful,” Nikki interrupts while coming into the living room and she glares at him while I fight my urge to attack her and put her in her place. “I don’t understand why they’re here and taking mine and Valery’s room,” she growls at me so I stand up and Liliana grabs my hand trying to pull me down. “Because they are my guests! You will show respect to everyone here, go to the spare room now,” Nikki instructs firmly watching Valery run out of the room seeming quieter than her bitch of a twin sister. “That’s not fair!” Michelle cries out when Laura comes into the room and shakes her head. “I heard everything go to your room now!” Laura yells before Michelle can cry to her, I sit back down with Liliana when Nikki and Laura

We stayed at Nikki’s for about a week before our parents bought the house about a quarter mile down the beach from Nikki’s. They also bought the land between the houses and around them for about a mile giving us a safe place to be wolves. “How do you like it here?” I question while walking into Liliana’s room where she is laying down because her stomach was uneasy. “It seems really nice,” Liliana answers while looking around at the room and I smile. “It really does,” I agree while stretching and getting comfortable in Liliana’s bed with her. “How are you feeling?” I inquire, staring down at her hands over her belly that is showing more. “Nervous, I’m starting to feel the baby move a lot now that I know what it is,” Liliana semi smiles and I nod my head happy things were going well; she deserves an easy pregnancy after everything. “I would expect nothing less, having a baby this young is hard. “Raven!” I hear a familiar voice. I try running towards the voice wanting out of the darkness surrounding me making me feel afraid, powerless, and angry. “Bunny, open your eyes look at me,” Osric’s deep voice finds me through the link when I begin feeling strong tingles against my naked back and torso I try opening my heavy eyelids like I am fighting to wake up from a deep sleep. It is then I feel a painfully strong surge of power rush through me making my eyes snap open causing me to nearly scream in overwhelming agony. My back arches up out of the warm body holding me making me collapse naked in the cold snow writhing in pain, consumed with power. “It’s ok Raven, it’s over,” Osric reassures while kneeling down next to me with his warm hand rubbing over my sweaty shoulder creating soothing tingles.
