Chapter 7

As Abigail was about to lay her head on the pillow, her phone suddenly rang. She picked it up and saw that it was a call from Megabase Company, the place she had interviewed for a job a while ago. Excitement rushed through her as she answered the call.

"Hello?" Abigail said it eagerly, her voice filled with anticipation.

The voice on the other end of the line greeted her warmly: "Hello, Abigail! We have some great news for you. We would like to offer you a position at Megabase Company. We were impressed with your skills and qualifications during the interview, and we believe you would be a valuable addition to our team."

Abigail's heart skipped a beat as a smile spread across her face. "Oh, thank you so much! I'm thrilled to hear that. When would you like me to start?"

The person on the phone replied, "We would like you to start as soon as possible. Could you join us tomorrow, which is Monday?"

Abigail's excitement grew even more. "Absolutely! Tomorrow works perfectly for me. I'll be there."

After hanging up the phone, Abigail couldn't contain her joy. She rushed to her twins and their nanny, sharing the exciting news with them. They all cheered and congratulated her on her new job opportunity. Abigail decided to celebrate the momentous occasion by bringing out a bottle of sparkling juice for everyone to enjoy.

"Cheers to new beginnings and exciting opportunities!" Abigail exclaimed, raising her glass.

The twins and the nanny clinked their glasses together, expressing their happiness for Abigail's success. They all took a sip, savoring the sweet taste and the joyous atmosphere.

"I'm so proud of you, Mommy!" Daniel exclaimed, his eyes shining with admiration.

Anita, the nanny, added, "Congratulations, ma!. This is a well-deserved achievement. I'm glad to be a part of this celebration."

Abigail beamed with gratitude, feeling blessed to have such supportive and caring individuals in her life. They continued to enjoy their celebratory drinks, cherishing the moment and looking forward to the bright future that awaited Abigail at her new job.

Excited about her new job offer, Abigail quickly dialed Samuel's number and eagerly shared the news with him.

"Samuel! Guess what? I got the job at Megabase Company!" Abigail exclaimed, her voice filled with joy.

Samuel's voice lit up on the other end of the line. "That's incredible, Abigail! I'm so happy for you. We definitely need to celebrate this milestone."

Abigail smiled, feeling grateful for Samuel's support. "Yes, let's celebrate together. By the way, when can I expect you?"

Samuel replied enthusiastically, "I can't wait to see you and the twins. I'll come over to your house today. It's time for a special celebration."

Abigail's heart fluttered at the thought of Samuel spending time with her and the twins. "That sounds wonderful! We'll be waiting for you."

Just before hanging up, Abigail clarified, "Oh, by the way, Samuel, the twins are excited to meet you. I want to make it clear that you're not their father. You're my new boyfriend, and we're all looking forward to getting to know you better."

Samuel reassured her, "I understand, Abigail. I'm here to build a loving and caring relationship with you and the twins. They will always have a special place in my heart."

Abigail felt a sense of relief after hearing Samuel's understanding and commitment. "Thank you for being so understanding. I appreciate your support, and I know the twins will be thrilled to meet you."

As they ended the call, Abigail's heart filled with anticipation. She tidied up the house, prepared a warm welcome for Samuel, and eagerly awaited his arrival. She knew that this special celebration would mark the beginning of a new chapter in their relationship, one filled with love, support, and shared joy.

As Samuel entered the house, Abigail greeted him with a warm smile. "Samuel, I'd like you to meet my new twins," she said, introducing him to the twins. "This is Samuel, and he's here to celebrate with us."

Daniel and Daniella glanced at Samuel with a hint of uncertainty in their eyes. They quietly retreated inside, their expressions showing a touch of anger.

Samuel chuckled and turned to Abigail. "Looks like we need to win them over, don't we?" he said playfully.

Abigail nodded, determined to bridge the gap between Samuel and her children. She called out to the twins, "Hey, Daniel and Daniella, come back here! Samuel has something to say to you."

The twins cautiously approached, their curiosity piqued. Samuel knelt down to their level and smiled warmly. "I promise to take both of you out for some fun today. We can go to the park or maybe get some ice cream. How does that sound?"

Daniel's eyes lit up with excitement. "Ice cream! Can we go now?" he exclaimed, unable to contain his joy.

Daniella joined in, her face beaming. "Yes, please, sir! We want to go to the park too!"

Samuel laughed and nodded. "Alright, let's get ready then. We'll have an amazing time together."

Abigail watched as her children's hesitations melted away, replaced by genuine happiness. She felt grateful for Samuel's efforts to connect with them and create memorable experiences.

As they prepared to head out, Abigail couldn't help but feel a sense of hope. This outing would not only be a fun adventure for the twins but also a chance for them to grow closer as a blended family.

She knew that with Samuel by her side, their journey would be filled with love, laughter, and beautiful moments that would strengthen their bond day by day.

As Abigail, Samuel, the twins, and Anita arrived at the park, the air was filled with excitement. The children eagerly ran towards the playground, their laughter echoing through the air. Abigail and Samuel sat on a nearby bench, watching their joyous expressions.

Abigail turned to Samuel and smiled. "I'm so glad we decided to come here. It's such a beautiful day, and the kids are having a blast."

Samuel nodded, his eyes filled with warmth. "Absolutely. Seeing them so happy brings me so much joy. I want to make every moment special for them."

Abigail reached out and held Samuel's hand, grateful for his understanding and support. "Thank you for being there for us, Samuel. It means a lot to me and the kids."

Samuel squeezed her hand gently. "Abigail, you and the twins have become such an important part of my life. I care deeply about all of you. I want to be the best. As your partner, I can be a positive influence in the twins' lives."
