Chapter 6 The insecurities

Next day at khurrana residence

The next morning, at breakfast every family member was worried about Adhya's future.

On the other hand, Adhya was feeling bad for putting her family in this situation. She knows how sensitive issue is this, and also afraid of rudra's rejection. If rudra rejects her then will Abeer go against his brother's wish or will follow his brother's order. Adhya was going mad thinking about the consequences she cursed herself in her mind

  " Yehi ladka mila tha Mujhe Pyaar karne ke liye " ( I got only this boy to fall in love )

But she want some answers from Abeer so she messaged Abeer to meet her in the evening ., in the same restaurant where they usually use to meet.

Abeer knows already what will adhya go to say but he was already well prepared with the answers.

In the evening while returning from the officè both of them entered the restaurant in time, after placing the orders for snacks and coffee. Adhya started her talk

" look abeer you know I love you and want to get settled with you, yesterday at dinner I like your mother too as she is a very sweet lady .,  but what I am ... I mean .... see please dont take it otherwise ., but ...

'Adhya come on say it clearly whatever you want to say, I am not going to judge your love"

Adhya took a deep breath and then said

"I don't understand why your mother seeks permission from your brother, I mean your aunt is elder than your mom so it's fine to take her permission. But why your brother . .. see I mean he is not older than your mother right. Then why he is so important ."

Abeer smiled at her "I know what are you feeling right now,  and it's obvious too. You know adhya when my papa and bade papa met with an accident,bhai was studying abroad at that time when he got the news he returned to India. From that day his dreams his priorities, and everything got changed. The only aim of his life was to handle the Shekhawat empire and keep the family safe.

"I was just 11 years old at that time for my good upbringing he send my mother to London at my grandparent's home as he want to save me from the hardships and upcoming misery to live without my father. He is still a bachelor, he doesn't marry because he did not want to focus on anything else than our business and family, another main reason was he doesn't want a girl who will enter our home and divide the family for her comfort ."

"My late grandfather already divided the property between my father and bade papa. But after my father's death my mom was shattered badly as she was always been a housewife she doesn't know anything about business and I was just a kid. Rudra bhai takes care of both the properties and trusts me he still gives the profit of our share to my mother's account. He also expands  more business in the name of my mother and me ."

"My bhai is the head of the family from his young age and he has earned that respect. Still, you think that my mother did not need his opinion ."

"Respect is earned Adhya, and my bhai truly deserves this. "

Adhya was stunned to listen so much about rudra's life, she respected that selfless human being in her mind. But still, the thought of rejection was ringing in her mind.

" Ok, I understand now that his permission matters to you and aunty, but what if he rejects me abeer, I am afraid of his rejection ."

" You don't know my bhai still you are assuming rejection, see my bhai loves me a lot and for him, my happiness means a lot. I know he will happily accept you in our family "abeer stated confidently.

"You are acting so confidently,  as you know he will not reject me "

 

"Yes dear that's true I am sure that he will never reject you  for me."

  " Ok if you say so but my family is worried abeer, they also want my happiness "

 

   'Tell them to relax, as soon as bhai will return I will personally talk to him about this and his answer  will be yes I know "

  "I love you abeer, I  have many dreams about our wedding. I have imagined many poses for our pre-wedding and then wedding photoshoot. I hope everything will go fine "

   " I love you adhya, I also have many dreams about our honeymoon. I have imagined you with me in many positions first on our wedding night and then on our honeymoon. I hope you will not be able to refuse me that time . " abeer stated same as her, in a serious way.

    Adhya took two minutes to understand what he said then she hit his arm with a small punch and leaned to his shoulder smilingly with her red cheeks. Abeer kissed the crown of her head and laughed at her innocence.

  Abeer liked this quality of adhya that even though she is born and brought up in London but from her heart, she is just like any other Indian girl. They both know their limitations, the relationship between them was just some huge kissing on the cheeks that's all. They both want to wait till marriage for a physical relationship.

After some chit chat, they bid bye to each other and left for their homes. At dinner time when the khurranas were settled for dinner. Dadu asked adhya

"Aadu did you talk to abeer about his brother's acceptance   thing "

  "Yes dadu I talked to him and he told me that his brother will accept this proposal. As his bhai always want abeer happiness first ." Adhya replied

  ' Is his bhai married?" again drishti started.

   "  No '

  ' I think he is elder than abeer, right "

  "Yes almost 11 years "

  "Still he is a bachelor"

       'Yes "

     "But why? I  mean they are calling themselves as well cultured and rich still he couldn't find a girl for his elder son " "drishti said in a mocking tone.

 "  Mom he doesn't want to get married"

  "Ooh  ! you mean he is gay or maybe some issues right "

  "Mom how does it matter to us haa, I am going to marry abeer, not his elder brother, so please relax and let me relax too ."

  " what do you mean how does it matter us, what if they say that first, we will get older brother married than younger one, tell me then what will you do,haa, wait for the old man to get married "

"He is not that old maybe in his mid-thirties and handsome too, " Ashish interrupt their talk

   " dad you too, please dont provoke mom " adhya whined to his dad

   "I am telling you there is something wrong in their family you know like they are hiding something. See how their elder son has the authority over everything of shekhawats. I think they are hiding a  .. a secret "

    "Boli sherlock homes, " devrat murmured in a low tone. ( sherlock homes started)

  Which was heard by Ashish and Adhya who snickered at his comment.

   Drishti was looking at the trio in confusion, as she was discussing a serious matter so why are they laughing ?.

   "Why are you three smiling ?"

" Nothing drishti we are just proud of you that how much you are worried about adhya's future, what a great mother you are  " Ashish handled the situation at hand.

  Drishti blushed at his compliment and felt proud of herself as his husband complimented her in front of the old man.
