"Can the kitten sleep in my bed?" Emily was quick to ask, she's still sleeping in the guest bedroom, not ready to give in yet and move to her designated nursery.

"She'll sleep with her daddy," Mathéo turns her down, making her frown.

"Maybe I can ask Jace, the girls seem to be getting along, putting them in one room would be easier to keep an eye on them through the night too," Callina steps in when she saw her little frowning, she agrees with her husband, Jace need the rest and Emily is responsible enough to call them in case of emergencies.

"Fine, go ask him, I'll change her," Mathéo finally agrees, Emily would be dressed in new pull-ups and a pj, although she hates it, but she'd been wearing pull-ups on daily basis ever since the accident.

Mathéo finished tucking her in when Jace joined him with a sleeping Kitten in his arms, she always falls asleep after her bottle, he exchanged the empty bottle for a pacifier.

Jace agreed with Callina on placing both girls in one room, it'll give him a chance to rest while the baby kitten sleep next to her new friend, he had in a sleeping bag just in case though. He kissed his kitten and his friend's little before leaving the room, he had to give it to Callina, she was right her doe eyes did get his heart captive.

"Talk," Mathéo ordered him.

"Get me a drink first," Jace order back, they settled down to two glasses of whiskey and one Martini for the lady.

"I'm sorry to say, I agree with Mathéo, you do look like hell, what happened?" Callina starts the conversation.

"It's nothing, I'm just jetlagged" Jace lies.

"Those bags are older than a day or even two," Callina points again, to his bad under eye bags.

"Mollis haven't been sleeping well," he blame it on his kitten.

"You look thinner from last time too, your shirt is a bit baggy and creased," Callina says.

"Thank you, I'm trying a new diet," Jace lies, he didn't need to loose weight, he used to workout regularly and stayed in shape.

"Jace, you don't look happy," Callina adds the final nail to the coffin, that was Jace's breaking point.

"Oh really! I didn't know! Is there anything else you'd like to point? Like how miserable my life have been!" Jace screams he didn't mean to snap at his friend, he loves Callina, if she wasn't married to his best friend, he'd marry her himself, she was and still is a catch.

"Fine sorry," Callina breaks tears rimming her eyes, she was worried about him.

"Callina, don't cry, please don't cry, I can't take anymore tears!" Jace gets on his knees apologizing to Callina, holding her hands, tears brimming his own eyes, he was exhausted, he came here to rest not fight.

"Jace, we love you, but you can't lash out at us, tell us what's wrong?" Mathéo joins them, placing his hands on top of Jace's.

"I...I don't think I'm enough for Mollis..." Jace says out loud confessing for the first time his deepest fear.

"What? What do you mean?" Mathéo asks him not believing for a second that his Jace isn't enough.

"Mollis is an odd case, since the minute she was rushed in I felt connected to her, everyone thought she was going to do die," Jace says tears going down his face remembering that painful day.

"I adopted her because I couldn't allow anyone else to have her, but then she came to my crappy apartment, I didn't even have toys for her," Jace keeps on going while the other two remain quiet listening to him.

"She cries most day unless if I'm holding her, she's a picky eater and I'm so exhausted after work, I simply give her bottles, Fuck, she doesn't even have a favorite toy! Not until now she took the white rabbit with her to bed, I should've have bought her a soft toy! I'm a freaking doctor, I studied about neko, I took courses about kittens and when I got my own! I'm neglecting her!" Jace cries hurt, he should've done better with Mollis but he's failing as her dada.

"You aren't being negligent, you're just busy, it's all too overwhelming for you," Callina jumps right in, not able to see the strong and might Jace broken hearted sobbing.

"Jace, look at me," Mathéo order him in his firmest voice, Mathéo had some dom in him too.

"You aren't a bad daddy or master, you just need some help, and we're here to offer you that help. You two are welcome here for as long as you need it, we'll help you through this," Mathéo says, while Callina nodded agreeing with him, Jace clearly and desperately needs the help.
