Chapter Twenty

After Bunch and some talking, Damon and I made up and decided to take the making up up to the bedroom. He decided to have a nap after, but I was too wired to just lay in bed, so decided to come down and watch a movie.

I was only about halfway through, when I paused it and got up, making my way to the kitchen to get a drink. I grabbed a glass out of the cupboard and poured myself some water.

I could hear barking and went over to look out the window to make sure Lilly was ok, thankfully she was, but while I was gazing out into the backyard, I felt two big strong arms wrap around my waist.

‘I thought you were sleeping’. I leaned back and gave Damon a kill.

‘I was, but woke up, and you weren’t there’. I smiled. The irony.
