Jackson wasn't particularly good at dealing with women and children, so he instructed Emily, "I'm going to the store to get some water. Stay here and keep them company."

Emily knew he felt awkward around women, so she just nodded. "Go ahead. I'll call you when Mr. Morgan arrives."

Jackson raised an eyebrow. "Do you know what he looks like?"

Emily tilted her head and smiled. "I'll recognize him. A middle-aged man, accompanied by a young daughter and a child. I know his son."

Jackson thought about it and found it reasonable.

"Alright, I'm off."

He didn't look back and quickly walked away.

The little girl's mother tapped Emily's shoulder and whispered, "He's so cool..."

"Him?" Emily chuckled. She used to think Jackson was very cold and aloof, but after getting to know him better, she realized he used coldness as a shield because he wasn't good at socializing.
