What I love

I marvelled at these beautiful puppies, my heart beating fast with joy. I felt a connection as soon as I saw them. There were four little puppies, they must have been almost newborns, huddled together for protection from the cold. One of them was jet black, one was light brown and the other two were brownish red. They were beautiful, I held the black one in my arms and cradled him. He looked at me with bright eyes.

“Where did these boys come from?” Seth asked, surveying the people outside.

One of the men answered with a shrug.

“I've no idea, Seth. I'm as surprised as you're... I didn't see them, no one approached. Whoever it was must have been very fast.” He answered, stuttering.

“A wolf. -Seth said, eyeing the pups suspiciously.” Why would he abandon his children?

“I don't know, but I don't think it's a good idea to keep them. Maybe it's a trap, they should be taken away.” said the man, if I remember correctly, his name was Tom.
