Deceit

"who does she think she is, dad is now giving her full attention, something he has never done. " Kalisha complained.

"You should know that King Reginald is a power thirsty man. Trust me, I know him too well. He only wants to get the power of the sword." Queen Kalispell said.

"But mum, who really is Oceana? How can a mere human girl lift up the samurai sword that many powerful ancient and present kings had been trying to do? " Kalisha asked curiously.

"I'm surprised as you are, but don't worry I'll summon Shaquille now." Queen Kalispell said and brought out a locket that was tied on her waist line.

She opened the locket, and blew air on it, suddenly a thick white mist came out which later died down and a woman who had a pale skin color and faint orange eyes, came in view.

"Kalispell, why did you summon me." She said calmly.

"The sword has been removed." Kalispell said.

"I know already. Immediately the sword was removed, I sensed it." Shaquille said.

"It was my step daughter Oceana who pulled it out and the worst part is that she is just a mere human." Kalispell complained.

"Oceana is not who you think she Is, she's much more than that." Shaquille said.

"So you mean she isn't a human?" Kalispell asked.

"I never said that." Shaquille responded.

"That means she is a mere human right?" Kalispell asked confused.

"I never said that either." Shaquille said.

"So who then is she?" Kalispell asked.

"I don't know who she is, but that isn't what you should be bothered about. You should be bothered about making your daughter the crowned princess." Shaquille said and vanished.

"Shaquille was right mum, you need to stop worrying about a mysterious being and focus on making me the crowned princess." kalisha said.

"You are only ten, but you talk like an adult." Queen Kalispell said and smacked kalisha's head.

"Mum, that hurt and besides, I'm turning eleven next week, but I'm not happy as I have to share a birthdate with Oceana." Kalisha complained.

"Kali... Stop bothering your self too much. Sharing a birthdate with her isn't the problem now." Kalispell said.

King Reginald knew that Oceana has wanted to be a warrior princess, and the only way to get closer to the sword's power, was to train Oceana.

He had been seeing her training on her own for the past few days and now that she was eleven years old, he felt it was time to take her training to the next level.

Every morning, King Reginald would wake up early and take Oceana out into the forest for her training. He taught her how to track animals, how to identify edible plants, and how to build shelters from natural materials. He also taught her about the different types of weapons available and how to use them effectively.

When they weren't in the forest, King Reginald would take Oceana into the castle courtyard for physical training. He taught her how to fight with swords and shields, as well as unarmed combat techniques. He also showed her how to use a bow and arrow for hunting or defense.

"Oceana, I've been noticing you for the past few days and I've seen you are growing close to your father." Amy said while braiding Oceana's hair.

"Tsk... Closer you say? I know what I'm doing Amy." Oceana said sternly.

"Let me advice you as a friend and best friend, you know your father the king is a power thirsty man, he'll do everything to acquire the power of the sword. Just be careful with him." Amy said.

"That's my only problem, I don't even know what powers the sword posses, and I'm only eleven. How do I protect myself from people who are after the power of the sword?" Oceana asked.

"Don't worry" Queen Satish said while coming inside the room."so long as King Reginald wants the power from the sword, he'll protect her at all cost."

****** A day later ******

King Reginald wanted to train both Oceana and Kalisha in a hard way. Although, he wanted Kalisha to be the strong one while he was only toying around with Oceana. Little did he know that Oceana had something bigger up sleeves for him in the future.

Oceana and Kalisha had been sent to the battlefront, a place neither of them had ever been before. The two sisters were both scared, but they knew they had to be brave for each other despite the fact Kalisha hated Oceana.

The battle was raging around them, and Oceana and Kalisha could feel the heat of the explosions and smell the smoke in the air. They were both terrified, but they kept going forward. This was actually the battle between Emperial kingdom and Divile, since Divile didn't agree the request of being one of Emperial's Alley.

Suddenly, Oceana heard a loud noise coming from behind her. She turned around to see what it was and saw a group of enemy soldiers charging towards them. Oceana grabbed Kalisha's hand and started running away from the soldiers.

The two sisters ran as fast as they could, but it seemed like no matter how fast they ran, the enemy soldiers were always one step ahead of them. Oceana knew that if they didn't find some way to escape soon, they would be captured or worse.

Just then, Oceana spotted an abandoned bunker nearby. She quickly pulled Kalisha inside and shut the door behind them. The two sisters huddled together in the darkness, listening to the sound of gunfire outside and praying that their luck would hold out long enough for them to make it out alive.

The hours passed by slowly as Oceana and Kalisha waited in silence for their fate to be decided. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, there was a loud banging on the door of the bunker followed by a voice calling out: "Surrender or die!"

Oceana looked at her younger step sister with fear in her eyes as she realized that their fate was now in their hands...
