I reached my room and collapsed onto my bed after I had successfully hidden away the pregnancy test papers. I had no idea how many people entered the room while I was gone, so I made sure to hide it in a place well hidden, but at the same time unsuspicious.

For the first time in a while I was actually grateful that Conrad was in the same space with me. Without him stepping up to apprehend the rude Clara, I would probably be the main character in a family drama by now.

I was still skeptical about telling him about the pregnancy, but I did big plan to think of that now, maybe when I wake up from sleep. I was exhausted from the day I just had, and needed some little rest, however a knock on the door had distracted me from closing my eyes.

I knew for sure it wasn't Clara, nor Lina that was knocking. They rarely entered my room, and whenever they did, they never knocked. I had only two persons in mind, my personal maid, or Conrad, but I was leaning towards Conrad mor
