Her eyes fluttered open only to welcome a white ceiling. Groaning, she got up to a sitting position. She hissed in slight pain when she moved her right hand. She looked down to see a needle attached to the back of her palm. She was sitting in the living room waiting for Dimitri. Joanna told her that he’d usually be home by nine. She was growing impatient each and every second. She looked up at the clock it was 09:30 PM.
