44. Keenan sulked
Keenan nodded. Unexpectedly. Lily's face immediately turned cheerful. It was as if she had forgotten that she was currently sick.
"Thank you, Keenan," she said like Farel who was very happy once the request was granted. Only there was no peck to symbolize it at the end.
"Where are you going?" croaked Keenan later. He held back Lily's hand which was about to pull back the blanket covering one of her legs.
"I'm going to Farel's room."
"He's taking a nap. You can't disturb him."
Lily was silent for a moment then finally complied by shifting her body towards the edge of the bed. The atmosphere was awkward considering she had poured her heart out to Keenan earlier.
