Chapter Thirteen: Tears

Sylvia came down from the car and rushed into the house, she did not even wait to talk to the kids who were in the sitting room, she just walked straight upstairs.

"What's wrong with her" Kathy wondered loudly.

"Who knows" Flora shrugged.

"Let me check" Kathy muttered and went upstairs to Sylvia's room.

She opened the door and walked in, she met Sylvia on her bed, crying.

"Aunt Sylvia, you are crying" Kathy muttered walking to her and Sylvia looked up, she didn't even know that someone came in.

"Am not crying" Sylvia said and quickly wiped her tears.

"Is something wrong?" Kathy asked.

"No, am fine" Sylvia forced a smile.

"Are you sure?" Kathy asked again.

"Yeah"

"Okay, if you say so" Kathy shrugged and walked out of the room.

Sylvia burst into another round of tears.

"He said they were just business partners but he was lying, they are dating" Sylvia sniffed as she said to herself.

"What was I even thinking when I thought we had a chance, I am poor..she is rich so they even fit"
