Lexi's pov

Going up the stairs to my room to retrieve my cell phone I gritted my teeth thinking about the two guys and Sloan.

What happened to him and why hadn't he come back to unlock the door to the wine cellar, I wondered to myself.

“Nathan is nuts if he thinks I will wander off alone with him at some human mall to purchase a gift for Nolan,” I mumbled bitterly.

“What else would you do? Stay secluded in your room like you did before. Go and experience life. You have never been to a mall before,” Nova growled and I rolled my eyes. It was true I hadn't left the pack lands and had only seen humans during the road trip with my mom.
