Chapter 14

Danica’s POV

We walk into the pack house and head for the kitchen to grab a bite to eat and hash out a plan on how to approach such a delicate situation. When we round the corner into the kitchen I can see that Jacob is there waiting for us. He bows his head to me and then shakes hands with Jessie and Sean.

“Oh, and Jacob, I would like for you to meet Nichole. She is the one helping us with this investigation.” I say just as Nichole steps out from behind Jessie and Sean. I see them both lock eyes and have a look of utter shock on their faces.

“MATE!” I hear them both say in unison.

I look from one to the other and you can see that neither one expected to meet this way. Jacob is twenty one years old and I know that he had all but given up on ever findin
