I was almost freezing to death when I left the bathroom but it was completely worth it.

My mind was totally far from Ralph and mostly on finding warmth from somewhere that is definitely not his body.

I snatched up my covers and threw it over my head from behind then held it in place just underneath my chin with both my hands while I just sat there at the edge of my bed blinking into space.

After several minutes of just seating in that position, my eyes zeroed in on a little part of something I could see from beneath the bottom drawer attached to my vanity table.
