Chapter 57

Amber Pov

I woke up when I felt something warm and soft touch my lips. Someone is kissing me! I immediately remembered what happened before I lost consciousness. Thinking that the person kissing me was one of the men chasing me before I passed out, I suddenly scratched his face and freak out. I heard him moaning but I didn't care. I just continued to scratch him as I screamed in panic but I didn't manage to hurt him again.

"Get away from me! You monster! Get away from me!" I screamed with my eyes closed.

"Amber, calm down. It's me, Phil."

I heard that familiar voice of a man. I stopped attacking him as my eyes opened.

"P-Phil," I said his name. My tears immediately fell as I hugged him tightly. I temporarily forgot what I saw about him and Bovic. The only thing I feel now is that I am happy that he was the person I saw when I opened my eyes and not those men who were chasing me.
