Chapter 15

It was difficult for Aliyah to finish pouring a glass of whiskey. I kept calmly telling her, "Stand aside!" And I lifted the glass of whiskey to take a sip. The feeling of spicy, acrid in my mouth made me a bit uncomfortable. I have never found that whiskey is hard to drink like that.

I put the glass of whiskey down and started having dinner. The food had cooled down, but I still pretended not to notice. If it were normal, I would ask for a portion of new food to change, but now I am afraid that Aliyah will waste my time, so I try to eat and look delicious to attract her.
