Guilt

An old man and a young girl behind him shuddered at the shattering noise. Their heads were hanging low while sweat was dripping down their forehead.

"WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?" Arjun shouted throwing the file on the man's face.

He didn't even consider his age before doing this.

The man was in his late sixties and was shivering visibly because of obvious reasons.

"And you...you will not get your salary for the next two months" the girl gasped with teary eyes at his declaration.

"Y-you ca-an't do this t-to me. I have worked hard for this project" she cried as her tone got a bit louder.

Arjun raised his one eyebrow at her outburst. She dared to raise her voice at him. A mere employee was going against his decision.

"Really? Then why can't I see the results?" He questioned in a mocking tone.

The girl opened her mouth to say something but he beat her to it before she could utter even a word.
