16. Never!

I stared at the Aster Gang as they passed my class. There was nothing suspicious about their movements.

I don't want to be prejudiced; it's just that, apart from them, who else would want to harm me?

"Kei," Tiana called while giving me banana milk.

"You like this, right? Sorry for not being able to visit you," Tiana said quietly.

"That's ok!" I said it modestly.

Well, I don't care whether she visits me or not; as I told her before, I don't consider her a close friend anymore, so who cares what she does?

The class suddenly fell silent when someone appeared at the entrance.

Steve waved his hand at me; he then walked unsteadily toward me.

Tiana, who was standing beside my desk, immediately shifted away from me.

"Nice to see you here! Last night, I went to your house, but your dad wouldn't let me in because you were already asleep!" Steve exclaimed as he sat beside me.
