Chapter 5

Anonymous POV

“What do you mean you think you were seen?” She shouted at the quivering man on his knees in front of her, “Your dark majesty, she came to the window again and I didn’t notice her looking through the gap in the curtain until she saw me as she has been opening one side of the curtain fully and I’ve been able to move further back into the forest when I’ve noticed, I don’t think she saw what my wolf looked like as it was very dark just my eyes.” The man muttered out his explanation as fast as he could be never looked up once at the woman who was currently emitting a very powerful aura. “I TOLD YOU NOT TO GET TOO CLOSE TO THE CASTLE!!!” She shouted at the man as she stood up and started walking towards him, the only sound you could hear was her footsteps that just echoed off the cold stone walls. She stopped in front of the man who was sweating uncontrollably from the aura that was surrounding him and nearly choking him. “I’m glad that you weren’t see otherwise you would have blown this whole operation that has been going on for the last 18 years, Tyler please see to it that another wolf is placed nearby on watch for now” She asked the tall brute slightly leaning against the corner watching, he stood up straight and bowed to the woman before heading out of the doorway just as he heard the loud crack of the quivering man’s neck being broken.

The footsteps started again as she started pacing around the empty chamber after throwing the dead body towards the open door, “I know your standing there in the dark Tyler, do you believe I shouldn’t have killed him?” She mumbled, stopping her rhythmic pacing, and sitting on the little throne at the end of the room, as she looked up to the figure who was emerging from the dimly lit corridor. “No, my dark majesty, he wasn’t pulling his weight and he nearly got caught a few days ago when he started howling in the night, so I overheard from the other guys.” He replied, not looking directly at her. “Tyler, have you managed to locate another rouge wolf to watch over her making sure that they are not discovered, I can’t afford anymore mistakes?” She questioned him, with a little calmer voice as she knew he was loyal to her and carries out any order she may have. “Yes, my dark queen, he has left already to survey the area and to set up a secret camp in the near by cave. He is my right-hand man and I trust him not to fail you.” He replied with a little confidence.

“Thank you, Tyler, you may leave I want to be on my own” She demanded looking directly at him which sent shivers of fear down his spine, he bowed before leaving the room. She sighed, whilst staring at the door that Tyler left from at the opposite side of the large dark room, it was more of a dungeon being dark, cold, and damp but the dark queen had made this her home for the last 18 years, this particular room was the large drawing room of an abandoned castle that was destroyed 100 years ago. Sighing again she thought about her plan that she has been working on for the last 18 years in total but it nearly failed completely 8 years ago when she was almost killed but thankfully Tyler was there to save her and bring her back to the home so she could heal herself.

She smiled to herself as she remembered the battle, she was helping the rouge king to try and take over the kingdom, but she had another motive, she wanted to capture a werewolf that she needs to use to become a dark high priestess. According to the Occult lore book, a Golden werewolf would be born under a blood moon, and she will be given with powers that can be harnessed to create a high priestess using a dark magic ritual. Ever since she had read this, she knew why he left and hid her for 10 years without any trace until that fateful night when she discovered where they both had been hiding, this was the reason, she was the reason the war started, and he died. ‘I will have her, and I will become the dark high priestess’ she thought to herself as she couldn’t fail now, she is so close, ‘1st shift is soon and then after that her powers will start to grow. Just a few more months and I’ll strike to take her’ these were the final thoughts as she walked from the empty room to her bed chamber for the night.
