Chapter Sixteen

KIMBERLY

"Kim. You've been smiling the whole day,what is it?"

"No I haven't."

"Aha! You were,the fact that you're denying it gives you away. Tell me! I'm your best friend."

I sigh and pull her to a corner

"It's Brandon. He and I...we..we did some things."

"What?!" She whisper-yells "you guys did it?"

"No Sam. I'm still seeing Ronan,I won't sleep with Bran."

"Then why don't you break up with him?"

"It's not that easy Sam, we've been together for two to three years, I can't just go 'Ron I don't think this is working' I can't just do that, I need to do it properly and at the right moment."

She gasps.

"So you are considering it?"

I smile tucking my lips in.

Brandon walks in with a pen at his ear. He takes a seat at the back joining in on the teams conversation.

His eyes scan me from top to bottom, making me hold my breath,the moment they lock with mine my heart starts beating fast.

During lunch, I head to the library after telling Sam I'll find her in the cafeteria. I'm placing
