The Inheritance

Vice and Victor were waiting at the front door as the Ferrari parked, looking, Raven thought, their intimidating best. He did not doubt that it was deliberate. They wanted to frighten Vixen, before taking her in to meet Mirage.

“They are better looking in person,” Shadow observed. “If that is possible. It must be torture to be friends with them. They say, let’s go for a swim, and you get an instant hard on.” He grinned at Raven as he slid the chair back to let him out.

“Yeah, it has happened,” Raven confessed, and could not believe he had done so as it was something that he had barely been able to acknowledge to himself.

“Maybe they will go swimming today,” Shadow added hopefully and went around the car to open the door for Vixen.

Raven walked over to Vice and Victor. “Hey.”

“Raven,” Vice nodded. Normally he would kiss Raven on both cheeks and grab him by the shoulders in Vice’s version of a male embrace, but today he was not willing to show any softness. All three men turned to watch
