Chapter 15 A victim

The next day, they are back in the mansion and she is laying on her bed. A violet flowery color covers her body and she is breathing evenly. Suddenly, the alarm clock on the bedside table bells, and she stirs up, she opens her eyes and the sunlight slaps them. She winces and squeezes her eyes tightly and she blinks hurriedly to adjust to the brightness. She yawns loudly and tries to put messy hair into place, she looks around her and she frowns and thinks,

‘After that day, I feel like it never passes. Every day is our wedding anniversary and he stands me up. That evil man has tainted my early morning waking. I should find something that will replace that dreadful morning.’

She gets up and rushes to the washroom, a few minutes later, she comes out in a bathrobe and walks to the side table and picks up her phone, and dials a number. The phone rings and on the second ring, the person on the other picks up and she says,

“I will be there at noon, you should be ready by then.”

She hangs up
