Chapter one hundred and thirty four

Kayla’s POV

These women were bullying me and I had to do something if I was going to have my place of respect.

“I’m done here,” I said, moving past them as Fiona tried to push me back but I instead pushed her back and started for the stairs. I wanted to get away from them as fast as I could.

As I got to the stairs, I heard them use their speed to get to me.

“Hey fucker,” I heard Mara say as I turned to f as s her as she pushed me over the stairs.

I had not anticipated that and I didn’t have my footing. I slowly fell down the stairs, my entire body shaking as all I could think of the baby in my stomach and how I was going to be the death of the child.

I rolled down the stairs until I got to the bottom and rolled to a stop.

It would have stopped there, but due to fate still playing games with me, I started to bleed from the cuts on my body and my stomach started to hurt a bit.

I found the blood coming from within.

“No,” I gasped. I looked to the top of the stairs to see Mara and Fiona l
